Co-Pilot™ Mini Camera System

They say that there's nothing quite like being there, and in the case of a competitive racing event, sometimes you wanna be where you can't really get to...until now.

Imagine that you could see how close your passenger tire is getting to the cones during right turns. Imagine that you could see how much suspension travel you were using. Imagine making a video from a height of a few inches off the pavement, because at that height, it already looks like you're hauling a$$ at even 25 mph.

The Co-Pilot™ is a miniature camera which we have outfitted for automotive use. It is about the size of a nickel. It mounts just about anywhere with a strong suction cup. It can be easily adjusted in seconds to orient the frame correctly (so you don't need any video editing software - and you don't need to watch your vid sideways or upside down). It's race-ready.

All you need is a camcorder to capture the action on tape! The camcorder can be safely tucked away 6 feet from the camera. In the glove box, under the seat, anywhere.

The suction cup will hold the weight of the camera for over 20 G's. The spring system allows the frame to be adjusted in 4 different positions, to maximize mounting locations.

Hardly noticible! Mount it almost anywhere.

Note the cross-shaped features on the back of the camera. The spring mounting system not only helps isolate the unit from shock loads, but allows the orientation of the camera to be switched in seconds! When the wire comes out the bottom of the camera, the frame will be correctly displayed. No guesswork.

The Co-Pilot™ comes in a compact plastic case, which makes it easy to store. Car power adapter and an RCA extension (w/gold plated contacts) are included, allowing you to remote-mount the camcorder up to 6 feet away from the camera. You only need supply the camcorder, and you're good to go.
The heart of the kit is the camera itself. Full color, and it can tolerate being accidentally pointed at the sun without getting fried. Resolution is just shy of standard broadcast TV.
