A graduate of the University
of California at Berkeley with both a Bachelors degree and a Masters of
Science in mechanical engineering, Bob has a continuous track record of
inovation and development for over 15 years. Bob is a licensed professional
engineer and is also registered with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Organization
as a patent agent. When taken with the nine patents that have already
issued with Bob named as co-inventor, a unique set of talents emerges,
suited especially for product development and the generation of intellectual
property.
Some of the most interesting work has been for NASA, as they assemble
and maintain the International Space Station. Bob develops tools and equipment that are used during spacewalks
(EVA's), and in doing so, gets to go to some pretty unique
places. Some of the equipment he has developed can be seen regularly
on the evening news, such as the U.S. manually operated crane.
Other projects have been much more down-to-earth. A recent venture
is the founding of AutoExpressions, a manufacturer of car accessories. Bob developed the initial product line, which features
artistic, rather than engineering talent. AutoExpressions produces many different styles teeth which fit into
the car grill, to give the car a totally new look, anywhere from aggressive to whimsical. A shark mouth and a
smiling face are both big sellers.
